July 2019 – SMITH RANCH NEXT RELEASE UPDATE

Thank you everyone for your interest in the next release at Smith Ranch.  We are excited to announce that there will be a total of 37 units in the next release.  A wide range of unit types, pricing and AMI % are planned.  Below is the current planned process.  Stay tuned as details evolve and possibly change.  Please reach out to your broker as questions arise.  Expect delivery starting in Q1 and Q2 of 2020. As of now, here is what we know:

  • Units are scheduled to be listed in the MLS and marketed in August or Early September

  • Application period with the Summit Combined Housing Authority will take place September 16 - October 17

  • Community Open House scheduled at the Pavilion on September 24 from 4-6 p.m.

  • Lottery will be on November 1, 2019

  • The site map, AMI % (2019 AMI will be used) by unit, bedroom count, and style of home are below

JUNE 22, 2018 – SMITH RANCH NEIGHBORHOOD PHASE 1

Smith Ranch Neighborhood Phase 1 includes the following housing types:

2-3 bedroom townhomes, 3 bedroom duplexes, and 3-4 bedroom single family homes.

Pricing for Phase 1 will be based on 80-120% AMI (area median income). Pricing for Phase 1 will range from $252,268 for a 2-bedroom townhome to $551,565 for a 4-bedroom single family residence. Most homes in Phase 1 will have built-in garages.

(Note: Must be owner-occupied by residents who work at least 30 hours per week in Summit County.)

SCHA will be holding office hours at Silverthorne Town Hall during the application period on Wednesdays 8 AM – 11 AM and Thursdays 3 PM - 5 PM,   please check www.summithousing.us as times may change.

 

8/23/18 | 4:00 PM Phase 1 Lottery

Completed and approved applications will be entered into a lottery. The lottery drawing will take place on 08/23/18 at 4:00 PM at Silverthorne Town Hall in Council Chambers, 601 Center Circle, Silverthorne, CO 80498. Applicants are welcome to attend, however not required. Lottery results will be posted live on the SCHA Facebook Page and also the SCHA website.

Wednesday, February 1, 2018

We had a great turnout for the Smith Ranch Open House on Wednesday night at the Pavilion, with approximately 250 people attending. Thanks to the Town, the development team, and the Summit Combined Housing Authority for working hard to make this event a great success. The next step in the planning process will be the Planning Commission and Town Council review of the zoning, as part of the Preliminary Planned Unit Development (PUD) process, anticipated to occur in March, 2018

OCTOBER 26, 2017 – COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE

The second Smith Ranch Community Open House was held on October 26 at the Silverthorne North Branch Library.
